Arcata High School serves seven elementary districts representing the communities of Arcata, Bayside, Blue Lake, Fairhaven, Fieldbrook, Greenpoint, Manila, Maple Creek and Samoa. Arcata High School students represent the community at large in their economic, cultural and social diversity. The entire staff and administrative team take great pride in the efforts and achievements of our student population.
McKinleyville High School school serves a broad area in northern Humboldt County including the communities of McKinleyville, Big Lagoon, Fieldbrook, Orick and Trinidad. Staff at McKinleyville High School understands their responsibility to ensure that every student has access to quality education and support services designed to meet individual needs. By working collaboratively with parents, students, community, Board of Trustees and District administration, programs are designed and implemented around the needs of the student.
Six Rivers Charter High School serves students from northern Humboldt County drawing students from the communities of Arcata, McKinleyville, Eureka, Fieldbrook, Freshwater, Fortuna, Trinidad, Westhaven and Orick. Since the creation of Six Rivers Charter High School, the faculty and staff work collaboratively to develop and implement programs and instructional methods that have the academic needs of each student at heart
Tsurai High School is an alternative school located on the campus of McKinleyville High School in McKinleyville, CA. The site's goal is to provide a caring positive environment while striving to meet the individual academic needs of a divergent group of students. Students are encouraged with guidance from staff to become actively involved developing, implementing, and following through with their education, job and career aspirations, along with post-secondary education.
Pacific Coast High School is a continuation high school located on the Arcata High School campus. Students are encouraged with guidance from staff to become actively involved developing, implementing, and following through with their education, job and career aspirations, along with post-secondary education. Our goal is to help facilitate students to earn their high school diploma in our program or return to the comprehensive high school setting.
The Mission of the Northern Humboldt Community Day School is to assist students in their progress towards responsibility as it relates to academic and personal development. We strive to see that each student makes significant progress toward reaching their potential. We strongly believe that all students are capable of academic achievement regardless of their circumstances or the hurdles that they face.
