Mr. Grounds' Students' "A+" Dioramas

Students select books to read, then create dioramas based on what they read. The dioramas on display here are those that received top scores. There were many more fine dioramas but these were the best.

My name is Jessica. I did my diorama after reading Clara Barton, Founder of the American Red Cross.  It was written by Helen Dore Boylston, and published by, Random House. This scene is about when  Clara Barton is helping people from the army.
My name is Christina. I did my diorama after reading The Courage of Helen Keller. It was writen by Franscene Sabin, and published by Troll Associates. This scene is about  a young girl named Helen Keller. I really liked the story because I have a blind cousin named Sara, and I thought it might be very interesting to read the book.
My name is Michael Lang.  I did my diorama after reading Lee Trevino.  It was written by Julian May, and published by Crestwood House Inc.  This picture is showing Lee Trevino hitting the first ball of the U.S. Open.
